Hambleden Manor

Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire

We were awarded the full groundworks contract by Boshers (Cholsey) Ltd for a prestigious large country estate development.

The scope of works included a diverse range of disciplines:
 

  • Large basement construction

  • Underpinning of existing structures

  • Full foul and stormwater drainage systems

  • New utility service connections

  • Sitewide ducting network installation

  • Landscaping works, including over 100m² of traditional York stone paving

Plant & machinery utilisation

To deliver the variety of works required, we deployed a broad range of plant and equipment, including:
 

  • A 14-tonne excavator for basement excavation and heavy underpinning tasks

  • A 1.5-tonne mini excavator for internal drainage installation and reduction of internal floor levels

Project reflection

This was a fantastic project to be involved in, showcasing the wide-ranging capabilities of our team.

It was a pleasure to see the combined efforts of our workforce result in a high-quality finish befitting such a remarkable property.
