NEW PROJECT COMMENCED.

We are delighted to have been awarded the full groundworks package for a new project in near High Wycombe for BETTERSPACES.

We have already been on site for a couple of weeks and we are beginning to make some real progress on the works.

This site has four plots being developed on phase one. We are currently working on plots 1+2 whilst plots 3+4 are made safe as they are currently derelict. This old farm has stood still for nearly twenty years and has fallen into disrepair.

We have full structural packages on all four plots and full foul and storm drainage schemes across the whole site. New services will also have to be brought in from the main highway.

Work commenced for us on plot one with a reduced dig to formation level and the installation of footings for a rear retaining wall and traditional mass fill foundations for the rest of the plot. Once the reinforced foundation was in place we laid a Stepoc block retaining wall and filled with concrete to ensure structural stability. we are now awaiting the waterproofers and once they have completed we will be able to install a land drain around the base of the wall and backfill ready to handover to the main contractor for the erection of an oak frame.

On plot two we have to underpin the entire structure, which is over forty meters of underpinning, we have also removed all of the existing internal floors and once underpinning is complete we will complete a reduced level dig ready to reinstate with a limecrete slab to help bring new life into this very old structure.

Works to plot 3+4 are imminient and we will keep you updated with progress across this job and hopefully onto phase 2.
