New Project started.

We are delighted to announce that we have commenced a new project in the Buckinghamshire countryside just outside of Marlow.

Working for a new principal contractor, BETTERSPACES, we have been contracted to complete full substructure and drainage works to a new dwelling and pool house.

The project has some access issues for large plant and machinery, however, we at DH Bond along with our muckaway and concrete subcontractors were able to overcome this to make some real progress onsite.

We commenced this project in early July and began with a reduction dig to the high side of the site. We removed 1.5m of clean chalk and also completed a reduced dig to the basement element of the project, resulting in approximately 40om3 of chalk being removed from site so far.

We have completed the foundations and slab on the living kitchen area and we are currently constructing the basement slab ready to move onto the construction of the retaining walls.

Moving forward on the project there will be over 100 meters of reinforced concrete retaining garden walls to complete along with full foul and storm drainage systems and the pool house.
